12 Oct 2026: New record. Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post, 12 Oct 2026: "80697964CK Private Willem Danster from the Cape Corps Maintenance Unit died in 2 Military Hospital in Wynberg as a result of injuries sustained in a private motor vehicle accident. He was reportedly Absent Without Leave (AWOL) at the time of the incident. He was 19." Not in DB prior to this pass. Distinct from the unrelated Danster, Philip, PersonNumber 4999 (Driver, died 1917).
14 Oct 2026: Mike Sandham OMISSIONS: 12 OCTOBER (SAWGP) independently confirms this record exactly: ServiceNo, "Maintenance Unit, South African Cape Corps", "2 Military Hospital", AWOL status and age all matching Col (rt) Graham du Toit's 12 Oct 2026 Last Post account.
