9 Oct 2026: New record. Col (rt) Graham du Toit Last Post, 9 Oct 2026: "78202561BG Private Christopher George Samuel Cracknell from the Technical Service Corps was killed when he was knocked down by a civilian private motor vehicle in Heidelberg while on a weekend Pass. He was 17." Not in DB prior to this pass. Distinct from the unrelated Anthony Cracknell (39169, Rhodesia, 1974).
14 Oct 2026: Regiment filled to "South African Technical Services Corps" (was blank), per Mike Sandham OMISSIONS: 09 OCTOBER (SAWGP), which also names "Services School" -- possibly this record's true Unit, against the stored "Technical Service Corps" (left as found, not restructured). ServiceNo, date, age and cause already matched exactly.
