"11 Feb 1981: 75501403BG Private John Michell Arthur Tizzard from 72 Motorised Brigade, South African Technical Services Corps Died in Private Motorbike Accident, on the Benoni-Heidelburg Road. He was off duty. He was 21."
21 Sep 2026: CauseDeath trimmed to the circumstance of death alone. On import it had been set to Mike Sandham's entire entry, repeating the date, service number, rank, name and unit that this record already holds in its own fields. His wording is quoted verbatim in the citation above, so nothing is lost. Defect found when Graham du Toit's Last Post of 21 Sep 2026 independently confirmed one of these records, Sikirila 49773.
