He was transferred to the Tygerberg Hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries on 25 September 1985. He was 24." Confirms the record, and the service number gains its suffix: the roll held "77526291", Graham gives "77526291BG". Rank, unit, both dates and age agree. The roll already carried the hospital transfer.
