Killed in action, vehicle ambush as they were leaving Vila Salazar, Op Repulse, at the end of their call-up. The ambush was initiated with an RPG rocket that struck the cab, killing the driver, Rfn Colin Murray and Sgt Andrew Berrington, who took the brunt of the blast. Jose Alpium was shot in the chest as he was debussing, dying an hour later
