MC LG Sup 6 April 1918 - "For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He led his men with great determination and skill in the attack. When an enemy machine gun was holding up the advance, he dashed forward alone, and bayoneted the gunner and crew, thus saving many lives and enabling his platoon to capture their objective.
