| Cause of Death: | Believed to have been, on routine patrols with his partner when they were tipped off about a person being robbed of a cell phone at gunpoint. The suspect took a firearm from under a pillow and pointed it at the police. They took cover and the suspect managed to run away holding the firearm. The two officers gave chase, but the suspect escaped. Later, they were shown a house where the man was supposed to be hiding. When he saw the police the suspect apparently fired at them, hitting the inspector in the chest, killing him. |
