Killed in Jeppestown when ambushed by 22 well armed robbers (subsequently 8 Killed /14 Arrested ) who had robbed the PICK AND PAY Honeydew. One of the robbers was wounded when trying to escape and he lead the police to the house in Jeppie where a shoot out occurred
