Dumisana Bomvana, 45, of Orlando West and Oscar Gift Mokgathedi were accused of a July 2001 robbery in which R190 000 was stolen from security guards at a pension paypoint at the Albertus Pop Centre in Extension Seven, Eldorado Park. Four policemen who were called to the scene chased the attackers. The robbers opened fire, killing Inspector Wilhemne Miles. Inspector Johnny Abdol died later in hospital.
