Died in Military Vehicle Accident, in Eastern Caprivi. While traveling in the back of a military vehicle, the truck hit a bump in the road. He was flung out and hit his head on the ground. He died on the scene
Son of Mr. J. F. Holm. Was the first SADF soldier to die on service in the Border area after the SADF took over the border area protection role from the South African Police.
