Citation

MC LG Sup 19 August 1916 pg. 8230 - "For conspicuous gallantry. When a party of our troops had lost their direction during an attack, he immediately went out and led them to the correct line. At the enemy's parapet he was wounded in two places at point blank range, but was rescued. His gallant act saved a serious situation."; MSM LG 22 August 1918 (for actions while with 2nd Imperial Light Horse in GSWA)
